BA or BS degree

• 4+ years of experience in a software development life-cycle environment and with application troubleshooting using Java and J2EE
• 3+ years of experience with developing Web applications in Java-based technologies and frameworks, including J2EE and Portal
• 3+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, IBM Websphere Portal, Web Services, XML, XSD, and XSLT
• Experience with development document management solutions
• Experience with workflow development and Business Process Reengineering a plus
• Knowledge of technical documentation and requirements definition

Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of a Java/J2EE Portal. Serve as the primary software developer responsible for the design of the IBM Websphere Portal software solution. Play an active role in the articulation of the software solution design for a federal client. Apply knowledge of life-cycle support, including development and maintenance. Support development using J2EE API, SQL, SML, Service-Oriented Architecture, and COTS integration. Customize and integrate custom and COTS applications using the aforementioned technologies to meet the client's needs. Participate in writing system documents, including use cases design documents. Support user acceptance testing and production system deployment efforts. This position is located in McLean, VA.
