Java Developer - Compunnel : Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with a strong focus on backend development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems. Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies and build tools is essential. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Build robust, high-performance RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs with interactive UIs. Deploy and manage scalable applications using AWS cloud services. Utilize build tools and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in architecture and design. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure high performance and reliability. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5-10+ years of relevant experience in Java development, with at least 2 years of on-site experience in a similar domain. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Proven experience with RESTful API development and event-driven systems. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating with front-end frameworks.
