Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Newark, DE (Hybrid) . You will be responsible for developing and integrating backend solutions, focusing on high-performance fraud detection systems. Rate Range: $62/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Java Developer job responsibilities include:
- Developing and integrating backend solutions for fraud detection systems, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborating with business and technology partners to deliver software solutions, including writing JUnit tests and ensuring robust code quality.
- Working with technologies such as Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Kafka, and various ORM frameworks, while following Agile methodologies and full SDLC practices.
- Managing high-volume transactions and ensuring seamless integration points throughout the fraud monitoring process.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Java development, preferably in the financial industry.
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and multithreading.
- Proficiency with NoSQL or relational databases and experience in high-performance, scalable systems.
