Description Job Title: Evening Custodian / Janitor (Full-Time) Location: San Jose Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 PM - 2:00 AM (8-hour shift + 30-minute lunch; occasional weekend work may be required) About the Role Select Staffing is seeking a reliable and motivated full-time Custodian to join our team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position - if performance meets expectations and you're a strong fit, you may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role at our client facility after the probationary period. As an Evening Custodian, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for employees and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working independently.

• Key Responsibilities Perform regular rounds of the facility, collecting trash, sweeping, and maintaining grounds
• Clean and service shop floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and loading dock areas
• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors, and handle spill cleanups as needed
• Manage waste disposal, including recycling and pallet sorting
• Maintain cleanliness of parking lots (remove nails, screws, and debris)
• Re-stock breakrooms and make coffee
• Assist with moving, assembling, and maintaining office furniture
• Follow all safety and cleaning protocols
• Perform additional janitorial tasks as assigned
