Janitor (Custodian) Poughkeepsie Corps - The Salvation Army Eastern Territory : Job Details

Pick up garbage outside the building daily. Ensure that the side gate & dining room door is open at 8:30 am. Ensure that Empty trash from all rooms daily and place in dumpster. Ensure dumpsters are locked after use. Sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces on a daily basis. Wash all glass surfaces as needed. Dust and/or sanitize all tables and desks on a daily basis. Wash walls and doors as needed. Clean and/or sanitize all bathroom restrooms daily (including floors, sinks, fixtures and partitions). Replace paper supplies and soap in restrooms as needed. Snow removal and salting as needed. Keep the back driveway clear of any debris as needed. Vacuum all carpeted areas daily. Change light bulbs as needed. Perform other light maintenance as needed. Strip, wax and buff floors as needed. Set up rooms as needed. Keep the janitorial room and sheds clean and in order. Make sure the chapel is ready for church service on Friday.
