The Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency has an opening for a Jail Diversion Specialist “ FullTime “ On Site in Annapolis MD - Salary range - $58,401.82 - $67,014.27 per year.This position reports to the CRS Director and has a non-supervisory role. The Jail Diversion Specialistassists in the day-to-day operations of the Jail Diversion Team acting as a linkage for jail diversion clientsto community services, including medical, behavioral, residential, entitlement and any other neededservices as identified.Qualifications & Abilities:Master's Degree (minimum) in Social Work or Professional CounselingLMSW/LGPC or LCSW-C/LCPC requiredExtensive knowledge of government funded and public and private mental health housing programs, as well as knowledge of providers and community resourcesAbility to collaborate effectively in a team settingDemonstrates ability to effectively manage multiple programsKnowledge of local and county resourcesKnowledge of Medicaid, Social Security and other housing entitlement programsDemonstrates ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with clients and other members of the care teamDemonstrates competency with manual and computerized database entry and recordkeepingExcellent interpersonal skills requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMajor Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain regular communications with correction system and appropriate officials toidentify clients in need of mental health services.Assists in identifying challenges and addressing barriers to service utilization.Send resume to [email protected]/Compensation: $58,402 - $67,014 per yearrecblid zrvtw87f48622a29oadlv8k2fuvo7jThis job is available to residents of USA only..
