As a member of our Innovation and Technology Services department, the ITS Network Specialist ensures the seamless operation of critical communication and connectivity systems across the organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining reliable and secure infrastructure while supporting future growth through strategic upgrades and improvements. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies, contribute to long-term planning, and provide innovative solutions that keep our systems efficient and resilient.
Examples of DutiesGraduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in computer science, information technology, information systems or related discipline and three (3) years of experience that includes network configuration, software installation and network troubleshooting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesConditions of Employment:
Must have or achieve CCNA certification within 12 months of hire date.

Driving is an essential function of this position. To be considered, you must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. If your driver's license is from another state, you will be required to obtain and show proof of a valid NC driver's license within 60 days of hire.
