Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Production Delivery Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on-site at Schriever Space Force Base just outside of Colorado Springs, CO. Relocation assistance is not available.

Position Overview:

As part of the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC), the Threat Products and Services (TPS) team offers opportunities to support the U.S. Missile Defense System through the development of Modeling and Simulation applications. The selected Production Delivery Project Manager will support the Integrated Threat Package (ITP) data production team as part of TPS. The Delivery Project Manager will function primarily in a Lean-Agile Kanban capacity for a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Kanban Team.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Driving day-to-day execution to meet schedule commitments.

  • Facilitating SAFe ceremonies.

  • Evaluating team capacity to meet requested product deliveries.

  • Working with the agile team to report weekly status, issues, and release plan updates.

  • Ensuring improvement items are tracked and implemented.

  • Performing metrics identification, tracking, and reporting, consistent with the program metrics plan.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Disseminating information down to the team.

  • Providing team status to other teams.

  • Collaborating with the SAFe Product Owner and Product Manager to ensure the project backlog is well maintained.

  • Communicating dependencies, blockers, issues, etc. to the SAFe Release Train Engineer and Government Stakeholders.

  • The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or PhD and 1 year of related experience.

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret SCI Clearance.

  • Experience with managing and coordinating complex deliveries.

  • Experience in Agile methodologies including Lean and Kanban.

  • Experience with Agile tools, the Atlassian Suite, and Microsoft products.

  • Ability to prioritize, execute, and delegate tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.

  • Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.

  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

  • Experience with Project Management.

  • Knowledge or experience in missile defense domain knowledge, infrared space surveillance, and modeling and simulation development.

  • An active DoD Top-Secret SCI Clearance.

Salary Range: $100,300 - $150,500

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.
