Position Type: Special Education Cooperatives/Occupation Therapist Date Posted: 6/23/2025 Location: WHA District Date Available: 2025-2026 SY District: Walker-Hackensack-Akeley ISD 113 Position Summary for the Registered Occupational Therapist:
- Provide a full range of occupational therapy services to students ages Birth to 22 including problem-solving interventions, screenings and assessments, consultation and advisement, and direct and indirect services to help ensure that students' needs are met
- Provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Within the assigned district(s), actively participate in the multi-systems of support process; child study; assessment process; and provide ongoing consultation
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, support staff, families, and other professionals to create safe, healthy and supportive learning environments for students and to strengthen connections between home and school
- Collaborate with other in-person and on-line service providers to ensure that due process timelines and procedures are honored in each of the PAWN member districts
- Keep detailed progress notes
- Participate as an integral member of the PAWN Special Education Team to provide ongoing support, training, and services to the PAWN member districts.
- Full Time Monday-Friday
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist License, or ability to attain one, issued by NBCOT
- Experience in schools preferred
- Must possess a valid Minnesota driver's license
