Sanimax is looking to hire a full-time IT Support Specialist for our Green Bay, WI office, working 8:00am- 4:30pm Monday through Friday. This position is responsible for computer, network and printer set up and troubleshooting. Will provide onsite and remote troubleshooting and technical assistance for all U.S locations within Sanimax. Why join Sanimax as an IT Support Specialist?

Responsibilities: Technical Support
  • Provide 2nd level support to users in the Green Bay office and U.S. remote sites
  • Support Windows Server and Workstation environments
  • Provide assistance and support to users, diagnose and resolve technical problems on site or remotely
  • Provide support for mobile devices (cell phones and tablets)
  • Prepare, configure, and repair hardware (computers, laptops, printers, etc.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment (switches, VLANs, routing protocols)
  • Support networking infrastructure including cabling and patch panels
Industrial Technology (OT):
  • Understand and support OT-specific protocols such as EtherNet/IP
  • Work with FactoryTalk Suite (Rockwell Automation), including View, Historian, and AssetCentre
  • Utilize OSIsoft PiVision for dashboards, data historians, and basic scripting
  • Support MES systems and their integration with shop floor equipment and ERP systems
General Duties:
  • Conduct regular visits to 2 U.S. remote sites
  • Assist with new and ongoing IT/OT projects
  • Help develop user guides and technical documentation
  • Perform other related tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in IT, computer science, or programming
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
  • Solid understanding of end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, access points)
  • Networking knowledge including cabling, patch panels, and Cisco switches
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Initiative and curiosity to learn OT systems and bridge IT/OT gaps
  • Strong problem-solving skills across various layers (network, application, hardware)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both IT teams and plant floor personnel
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Basic understanding of OT security principles (e.g., segmentation, patching, endpoint protection) - considered an asset
