Job Description :
- Technical engineering background with 5+ years of New Relic, Splunk integration, configuration and deployment experience including Search Heads, Indexer Clusters, HTTP Event Collectors, Deployment Servers
- Excellent knowledge of Splunk and New Relic Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of the latest product development and features
- Demonstrated experience in Monitoring and Event Management tools, including but not limited to Splunk, Elastic, BMC, CA, Micro Focus, ScienceLogic, Solar Winds, AppDynamics, Dynatrace and New Relic
- Demonstrated knowledge of SPL for solving complex data analytic problems and writing efficient queries
- Experience managing data retention policies and performing index administration, maintenance and optimization, and configuration backups
- Knowledge and experience of Splunk at an architectural level, including the integration with Service Now and other Monitoring toolsets
- Strong knowledge of system design and development used within Service Oriented architecture and web services integration such as XML, API Technologies (REST/SPML/SOAP), HTML
- Strong knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 methodologies, ITSM concepts, enterprise IT architecture, relational databases
