If so, GenConnect is looking for a talented IT Team Lead in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will:
Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills and the ability to self-manage and prioritize a dynamic workload.Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedback.Address customer concerns regarding products, services rendered, or employee interactions.Work on all aspects of IT infrastructure – on-premise and Microsoft 365 cloud applications.Troubleshoot customer technical issues.Design, test, and implement servers, networks, hardware, and software.Manage and maintain tickets assigned and hours billed, showing initiative to address items based on priority/severity level.Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.Participate in and follow through on IT projects such as upgrades, training, and troubleshooting.Contribute ideas, processes, and actions to improve service, workflow, environment, and culture.Assist, train, and mentor junior technicians.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Advanced training in Information Technology or Information Security. Two- or Four-year degree from an accredited institution preferred.15 years' experience in Information Technology with advanced problem-solving skills (MSP experience is preferred).Experience in user technical support, network administration, systems analysis and design, and support activities in multi-user network environments.Proficiency in MS Office 365.Extensive network and hardware experience.Hands-on troubleshooting knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems, Hyper-V, on-premise Exchange server, and MS SQL Server.Proficiency in DHCP, DNS, and AD.Experience with network equipment such as routers, firewalls, access points, & switches.Knowledge and experience with MSP Management tools is a plus.Security +, Linux, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are a plus.Knowledge of PBX/Telephone equipment is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
