NYC-based hedge fund is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems and SharePoint Administrator to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure and SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless collaboration, system security, and efficient operations across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee servers, networks, cloud services, and tech infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and to facilitate disaster recovery
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize SharePoint sites, permissions, and security policies.
  • Manage and integrate Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Platform, Azure Active Directory, CoPilot, Intune, PowerPoint, and Purview
  • Manage vendor relationships, projects and tech budgets
  • Assist employees with all IT-related issues, providing guidance on best practices. Provide superior service support to all users.
  • Implement security policies, monitor system vulnerabilities, monitor and maintain cyber security policies, and ensure data protection.
  • Diagnose technical issues, improve system efficiency, and ensure high availability.
  • Oversee all IT documentation and administration
  • Oversee telecom system and related issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT administration
  • 2+ years of experience in SharePoint management.
  • Experience with SharePoint buildout, workflows, and automation.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work as a team player and take direction and complete projects and tasks in a timely matter.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time
