Job Title: IT Systems Analyst I Division: Shared Services Reports To: Executive Director of Business Innovation SUMMARY Responsible for the support of critical business technologies, partnering with business units to optimizing system workflows, retrieving and visualizing data, and the development, testing, deployment and monitoring of process improvement initiatives. SCOPE This position has accountability for supporting critical business technologies, retrieving and visualizing data, and the lifecycle of optimizing system workflows, and other work as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL
- Serve as a main point of contact for the support of critical business systems.
- Partner with Technology Team and Business Unit Leaders to identify areas for improvement in data integrity, operation processes and company systems.
- Evaluate processes for bottlenecks and develop streamlined processes based on data and feedback from operations.
- Analyze ROI on proposed enhancements / new features to determine priority level.
- Work with operations and external customers to ensure integrations meet the needs of both parties.
DATA RETRIEVAL, VALIDATION & VISUALIZATION
- Retrieve and review data from internal and external sources, to ensure it meets the scope of work requirements, by leveraging MSSQL, APIs, or data connectors.
- Look for areas where data validation would be beneficial, to ensure critical data sets are error free.
- Escalate data errors so they can be addressed by the appropriate party.
- Visualize data so it is more digestible by the end user, by leveraging PowerBI or various Python packages.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & WORKFLOW OPTIMIZATION
- Work with business unit leaders to identify areas for process improvement.
- Retrieve system data, analyze, and identify area of improvement.
- Observer the current state process, visualize and evaluate for improvement
- Develop process alternatives for business unit review
- Determine the cost, efficiency gains and ROI of the proposed improvements
- Develop, test, deploy and monitor the improvements, leveraging Zipline's technology stack
Requirements MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology based discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and basic queries.
- Knowledge of simple programming logic.
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tool sets.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Ability to build system reports and queries to review key data sets.
- Advanced Excel knowledge for pulling and displaying data from multiple reports.
- Ability to visualize data.
- Ability to assess processes for bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Desire to continuously learn and apply learning(s) to job.
- High attention to detail and ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with software and hardware. .
