We are looking for an experienced Information Technology Systems Administrator at Home of the Innocents to support, implement, and maintain technology solutions that keep our organization running smoothly. This role is vital in ensuring our IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and responsive-allowing our staff to focus on delivering exceptional care to the children and families we serve. A Day in the Life As the Information Technology Systems Administrator, you'll work closely with the Director of Information Technology Services to research, design, implement, and support new and existing IT solutions. Your days will involve maintaining servers and workstations, assisting with help desk requests, deploying new hardware and software, administering networks, and ensuring email and communication systems run flawlessly. Whether you're troubleshooting an urgent issue or planning long-term improvements, your expertise will be key to the efficiency and safety of our technology operations. How This Position Contributes to the Mission • Assist with the research, design, implementation, support, and administration of technology-based business solutions. • Keep all servers and workstations up to date with operating systems and patches. • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner. • Set up and configure new hardware, software, and user accounts. • Administer existing and future network infrastructure. • Manage and maintain all IT systems, including email, communication tools, and cloud-based platforms. • Ensure effective and secure electronic mail communications for all end users. • Maintain safe, organized, and efficient work areas. • Perform additional IT-related duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications • Trade or vocational school training/certifications in Information Technologies or equivalent, or an Associate Degree in Information Technologies (or equivalent experience). • Minimum of three years of IT experience preferred, with proven skills in systems administration. • Proficiency in administering MS 365 (Exchange, Entra, SharePoint, Teams), cloud-based telephone systems, virtual environments, backups/restores, imaging, security systems (badges, doors, cameras), Meraki networking, cybersecurity monitoring, RMMs, MAC OS, Apple IOS/IPADOS, Nursecall systems, hospital monitoring systems, paging systems, and cloud-based printers/copiers. • Ability to work effectively with staff, residents, families, and external partners. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and planning skills. • Willingness to seek out and integrate new methods and technologies. • Physical ability to move throughout multiple buildings, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work in varied environments.
