Job Summary: Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, endpoint systems, and operational services. Installation of hardware and software, and participation in research and development to continuously Improve and keep up with the IT business needs of the organization. Actively resolve problems and issues with internal users and ensure system integrity and network security to limit work disruptions within the company.

Requirements:

Essential Functions:

· Provide support to the information technology (IT) day-to-day operations and maintenance.

· Help to detect, diagnose, and resolve problems at the OS and application levels.

· Lead the process for identifying and gathering appropriate business requirements that satisfy the business need in support of streamlining existing processes.

· Lead the development of functional and technical specifications based on business requirements.

· Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal IT security policies.

· Install authorized software, ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops.

· Good knowledge of active directory and group policies, setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with IT requirements.

· Perform testing of all ERP system enhancements and bugs providing feedback for failed testing and user acceptance for successful tests.

· Serve as liaison for functional areas between IT technical vendors and the business.

· Provide ongoing day-to-day support for applications team in addition to project management responsibilities.

· Provide timely response and support during scheduled and authorized non-business hours to ensure continuity of services to the network environment.

· Administer, monitor and support physical/virtual servers (Windows/Linux) and manage network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs).

· Provide Help Desk support services to users to install, maintain, diagnose, repair operating problems, for hardware, software and peripherals guidance to resolve common problems and install updates.

· Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring systems.

· Keeping systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs.

· Monitor and apply security patches to servers, endpoints, and network devices to optimize the systems regularly.

· Assigning and updating security permissions for the system network.

· Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system.

· Serve as a Systems Security Officer to monitor and maintain computer security systems including surveillance, access control, and other monitoring and reporting systems. Ensure that security processes, software, hardware and related backup and restoration processes comply with all defined regulatory and licensing requirements.

· Complete all IT activities following security policies and practices.

· Support and administer Microsoft 365 Copilot, including account provisioning and password resets.

Success Factors:

· Ability to use computers, and common office equipment including Microsoft Office, Servers, and other specialty equipment, software, and firmware.

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization.

· Systems administration experience.

· Technical support experience.

· Experience with Windows/Linux server.

· Ability to troubleshoot.

Minimum Qualifications / Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent required. Additionally, a minimum of three years of experience supporting ERP and related business applications in a manufacturing environment. Minimum one year experience in systems administration, technical support and Windows server required.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

· Syspro ERP Administration experience.

· Deep and broad understanding of ERP business processes in one or more functional areas (i.e., Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Order Management, Inventory, etc.).

· Deep understanding of SQL and building SQL queries.

· Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

· Experience with Cisco/Meraki Switching, Routing protocols, EDR, Data backup/recovery, and server hardware components (CPU/RAID/SCSI).

· Attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

· Experience with the Office 365 suite of products (Access, PowerAutomate, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

· Salesforce Administration, CompTIA Network+, Security+ certificate a plus.

· Salesforce experience in creating/managing user profiles; roles; creating/modifying objects in salesforce – SOQL and Apex coding also a plus.

· Crystal Reporting Development.

Computer Skills: All aspects of Windows 365 and older versions. Some working knowledge of Syspro CRM. Ability to operate general office equipment, i.e., copy machines, fax machines, printers, etc.

Work Environment: Office.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to meet National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) Standards.
