Gemstone Foods is seeking a skilled and self-sufficient Systems Administrator to manage a hybrid Active Directory environment, cloud infrastructure, and key business applications across multiple physical locations. This individual will be responsible for maintaining uptime, managing security protocols, coordinating backups, and providing direct support for end-user computing, Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot a hybrid Active Directory environment and Azure-hosted domain controllers
• Oversee Intune device compliance, configuration policies, and software deployments
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and MFA/SSO configuration
• Support Windows Server infrastructure (2019), VPN, DNS, file sharing, and firewall connectivity
• Handle regular backups, patching schedules, and enforce security compliance protocols
• Maintain N-Able RMM, ticketing, and documentation systems

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a system/network administrator role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD Connect, Intune, and Exchange Online
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell scripting
• Familiarity with SharePoint, QuickBooks hosting, and label printing systems (e.g., NiceLabel) is a plus

Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA Network+ / Security+

Reporting & Location

This position reports to the Director of Operations. The role is based primarily at the Florence, AL facility with occasional travel to remote sites in Decatur, AL (McEntire, Holly, HWY 20).
