Own the Tier 1 ticketing queue, triaging and resolving support requests across hardware, software, and systems
Provide technical assistance and onboarding training to end-users, including new hire setup and imaging
Manage user accounts and group permissions in a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment, including Active Directory and Azure
Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems, servers, and applications
Contribute to special projects-server upgrades, asset lifecycle management, and internal IT process improvements
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across departments
Proven experience in IT support, with hands-on troubleshooting of desktops, servers, and networks
Strong understanding of Microsoft environments (Active Directory, Azure, Office 365)
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and pivot quickly when demands shift
Clear communication skills-especially when explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences (including HR)
Solid grasp of ticket management systems and process documentation
Willingness to be on-site 4 days per week in Hartford, CT
Experience during high-volume seasons (e.g., accounting deadlines)

Exposure to support desk environments that operate like an internal MSP
