Overview

Client: Real Estate Role: IT Support Specialist (Tier 1-2 Support) Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000 Location: Manhattan, NYC

Fully onsite for 6 months+ then will transition to hybrid. Permanent position. Tier 1-2 level Support. Will train on additional systems the candidate will be troubleshooting.

Open to a candidate with a degree and 6+ months of experience or a candidate without a degree but possess relevant work experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting problems, installing and maintaining systems, and ensuring optimal IT functionality across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, or in person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
  • Set up and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Use a ticketing system to log, track, and resolve support issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine system monitoring, maintenance, and backups.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees by setting up and deactivating IT equipment and accounts.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized support or hardware repairs.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven hands-on experience in an IT support or help desk role.
  • Experience working with a ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshservice, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Microsoft Office 365 products and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Active Directory for user management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Education: Must have a HS Diploma; Associate's Degree is preferred but not required.
