We're looking for an IT Support Specialist to assist with the day-to-day technology needs of our 1350+ Waste Warriors employed across 17 different countries.

The role will be based at either our US, New York office or at our office in Toronto, Canada. You will be part of a team of IT support specialists currently co-located in The UK and Denmark, reporting into our IT Manager who is physically located in Copenhagen, at the companies HQ.

Our team mission is simple: We do our best every day to ensure every employee in the company can fight food waste by having the right tech tools available.

**Your role**

* You support all company employees and external consultants across all countries with general software and hardware-related questions that come in via support tickets, email, and slack.

* You act as a System Administrator for our main systems such as BitDefender, Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, Microsoft 365, and Slack, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

* You will provide on-site support for the employees located at the same office as you.

* You will maintain and work on our JumpCloud Platform: This involves:

+ User accounts - assisting with issues, ensuring new users are created, overseeing permission levels, and handling user terminations.

+ Device Management - ensuring every macOS and Windows machine in the company is enrolled and managed.

+ Setting up single sign-on for new and existing applications

* You will also assist with IT road map projects, examples include:

+ Migrate employees from one application to another (Could be OneDrive to Google Drive)

+ Automating everyday processes to make life easier (Could be zero-touch offboarding)

+ BYOD management (Mobile phones and personal computers)

* You are also responsible for hardware procurement and setup for new hires.

**Requirements**

* You have hands-on experience with User Management.

* Experience with providing end-user IT support and being comfortable tackling whatever IT issue is thrown at you.

* Being tech-savvy is a must: You can easily both identify, investigate and solve IT problems as they arise.

* We require full professional proficiency in English as we communicate with employees (support) and 3rd party system engineers (deeper support investigations and project work) across the globe via email, chat, and video meetings every day and occasionally by phone.

* A plus if you have experience with navigating support ticket systems (We use YouTrack).

* You need to be positive and adaptable as every day brings something new and challenging. Tomorrow never looks like today and plans are often changed.

* We require a strong drive and the ability to take ownership of tasks.

* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is needed.
