Role Title: IT Support ContractorSalary: $40,000 - $43,000 / yearOffice Status: 100% onsite in HoustonBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Must-Have Technologies

• Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• Microsoft Office Productivity Tools
• Office 365 Cloud Services
• PC and Laptop Hardware Support
• Familiarity with normal lifecycle and asset management

Responsibilities

• Support hardware lifecycle management including inventory, deployment, maintenance, and recovery
• Prepare and deploy new hardware as part of company-wide upgrade to Windows 365
• Perform routine hardware servicing and troubleshooting for PC/laptop issues
• Maintain and document accurate records in ticketing system per ISO standards
• Provide consistent and courteous customer service to internal employees
• Occasionally assist with other IT support needs as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma
• Preferred: Associate's degree or higher, or active enrollment in a degree program
• 3 years of professional experience on an IT Service Desk
• Strong working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with Office 365 and hardware lifecycle management
• Positive attitude, punctual, strong work ethic, and team player
• Ability to work independently, take notes, learn quickly, and adapt
• Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals, MTA) are a plus but not required
