We've raised $160m+ from top investors including Insight, Accel, and 60+ angels. THE ROLE Unit is hiring an IT Support Engineer in NYC to join our growing team! In this role, you will provide comprehensive IT service and support to internal users in our NYC office, Tel Aviv, and remotely across the US. We're looking for someone who is highly entrepreneurial, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about delivering top-notch support while driving technical improvements across the company. This is a full-time position based in New York City, with a 5-day in-office policy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As an IT Support Engineer NYC, you will:
- Own on-site technical support for our dynamic team, with a strong focus on MacBook systems.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets promptly, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Support remote users across the US and remote sites, ensuring smooth and reliable IT daily operation.
- Work closely with the People Team and Office Managers to maintain and enhance a productive, engaging office environment.
- Collaborate with the global IT and Information Security teams to address network and security needs.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with security standards.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, utilizing automated systems wherever possible.
- Proactively improve and optimize IT processes to support a fast-growing organization.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3-5 years of proven experience in IT support or engineering, with deep expertise in MacBook systems.
- Extensive experience in managing SaaS services end-to-end, including administration and optimization of tools such as Google Workspace, Monday.com , JumpCloud, Atlassian Stack, Slack, and much more.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting, including experience with wired and wireless network environments, VPNs, and related infrastructure.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and best practices for efficient support workflows.
- Great, Self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and continuously improve skills and processes.
- Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude, who is eager to build and integrate new IT services
- Strong ability to maintain and nurture relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring IT solutions align with business needs.
- Must be able to work on-site, Monday through Friday. Willingness to work off-hours in urgent cases to ensure critical issues are resolved promptly.
