IT Support Engineer II - Amazon : Job Details

As an IT Support Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and infrastructure in Boise. Collaborating with our global IT team, you will ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and office systems, enabling our team to deliver exceptional results.

In this full-time role, you will:

• Manage and maintain office infrastructure, including both wired and wireless networking, employee workstations, and meeting room setups.
• Provide in-person support and troubleshooting for eero employees to enhance their productivity.
• Oversee and manage a fleet of employee workstation hardware, including imaging, asset tracking, troubleshooting, and purchasing.
• Handle remote support tickets for eero employees across various locations.
• Contribute as a key member of the eero IT engineering team, deploying new applications, integrations, automations, and cloud infrastructure.

This position requires you to be onsite five days a week, ensuring that we afford prompt and personalized service while optimizing our IT systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of technical support experience.
• 4+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
• 4+ years of networking experience, including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions such as Okta, SAML, SCIM, and Federation.
• Familiarity with platforms like Google Workspace, Okta, Meraki, GitHub, and Jira.
• Strong written communication skills for documenting policies, procedures, and runbooks.
• Experience with AWS services, including networking, EC2, and IaaS.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages for task automation.
• Expertise in supporting video conferencing and teleconferencing equipment.
