IT Specialist - Casa de Fruta : Job Details

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY AS THIS IS AN AFTER-HOURS, WEEKEND PART-TIME POSITION. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, IT Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to help drive our business forward. NOTE:This is a hardware-related role, not programming/software. Responsibilities:

• Perform the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing work order tickets and external vendors.
• Maintain our network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of our IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolving IT issues promptly.
• Ensure the proper function of our POS system, PMS system, and telecommunications systems.
• Maintain cybersecurity measures to protect our systems and data.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies, and make recommendations for technological improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desired.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Property Management/Hospitality applications, such as Radiant and/or RMS. POS applications, such as Aloha.
• Experience with Windows Server, SQL, and Accounting applications.
