Position Summary: The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's information technology infrastructure. This includes the planning, implementation, and maintenance of secure, reliable, and scalable systems that support daily operations, business growth, and employee productivity. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with deep experience across systems administration, network management, cloud strategy, and end-user support. Key Responsibilities: 1. IT Operations & Systems Management Plan, evaluate, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure across the organization. Administer and maintain network operating systems, software licensing, and network documentation. Develop and enforce IT policies, network rules, and user procedures. Conduct regular site visits to support technology systems and provide hands-on assistance. Coordinate with external vendors and IT service providers. Ensure the security and stability of all systems, including firewalls, antivirus, data backups, and disaster recovery protocols. Maintain compliance with the organization's IT Disaster Recovery Plan. Support the integration of IT systems for future business acquisitions or reorganizations. 2. User Access & Internal Support Provide secure network access and accounts to staff, including password and permission management. Onboard new employees with IT orientation and technology setup. Deliver end-user training and individual support as needed. Communicate security protocols and system updates to internal users. Promote user awareness of emerging technologies and digital tools. 3. Infrastructure & Helpdesk Support Deliver responsive IT helpdesk support for hardware, software, and network issues. Manage virtualization environments using VMware and/or Hyper-V. Oversee Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange email systems. Maintain and monitor networking equipment (e.g., CISCO switches). Maintain a current inventory of hardware, software, mobile devices, and resources. Deploy and configure workstations, servers, and peripherals. Ensure security and antivirus software is properly installed and updated. Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, and secure hardware disposal. 4. Cross-Departmental IT Support Assist production teams with the integration of CAM software and production systems. Manage deployment and licensing of SolidWorks and other engineering applications. Support finance and administration teams with ERP system (e.g., Syteline) reporting and licensing. Participate in due diligence and infrastructure assessments for proposed acquisitions. 5. Leadership & Development Remain current with IT trends and technologies relevant to the organization. Participate in company-wide initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma and process improvement projects. Maintain compliance with internal health, safety, and policy standards. Support personal career development through training and educational opportunities. Qualifications & Technical Competencies: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field. Proven experience in a senior IT management or systems administration role. Proficient in: Windows Server environments and Active Directory VMware and Hyper-V virtualization Network configuration, administration, and security Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Azure cloud services Troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues Antivirus and cybersecurity solutions #J-18808-Ljbffr
