• Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software.
• Updating contingency or disaster recovery plans based on new security requirements.
• Diagnosing and resolving customer-related incidents.
• Recommending and implementing IT security tools and practices.
• Conducting security accreditation reviews for systems and networks.

Basic requirements include attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving skills. For GS-12, one year of specialized experience at GS-11 level is required, including applying security assessments, reviewing disaster recovery plans, supporting security needs, and evaluating authentication technologies.
