- Design and architect secure, scalable, and resilient end-to-end IT solutions—including web applications, APIs, integrations, and backend platforms—across hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
- Translate business and functional requirements into comprehensive architectural designs and technical blueprints.
- Evaluate and recommend enterprise technologies, frameworks, and platforms with an eye on innovation, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead architectural governance, technical reviews, and compliance checks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and drive architecture best practices, including standardization, reusability, and modular design principles.
- Oversee implementation of secure development lifecycles (SDLC) and integrate security-by-design practices.
- Configure and secure web traffic via WAFs, reverse proxies, TLS, and related security controls.
- Champion data privacy by enforcing data classification, retention policies, and governance strategies in all digital systems.
- Guide cross-functional teams on architectural approaches, solution patterns, and system integrations.
- Deliver technical roadmaps, PoCs (proof of concepts), and vendor evaluations to support innovation and modernization.
- Facilitate collaboration between business leaders and technical teams to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks and advise on build-vs-buy decisions.
Responsibilities include:

Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in an enterprise IT solution architect role required, 10 years preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required, Master's degree in Computer Engineering preferred.
- Deep technical expertise across infrastructure, systems, networking, and cybersecurity disciplines.
- Strong experience with the following technologies:
- Virtualization: VMware
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Networking: Firewalls (Palo Alto), switches/routers (ProCurve), and wireless (Aruba)
- Security Tools: SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, MFA, Conditional Access
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python
- Proven ability to lead cross-departmental initiatives and deliver high-impact technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong documentation capabilities, including system diagrams, architecture documentation, and executive summaries.
