IT Services Manager – Salina, KS

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking an IT Services Manager to join our team in Salina, KS. This role requires a combination of technical IT knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, relevant manufacturing experience, and a system background.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of IT experience in a manufacturing operations environment, and 10-15 years of management experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage manufacturing execution systems (e.g., Apriso)
• Manage and enhance engineering systems (Windchill, Creo, E NOVIA Catia) for multiple engineering groups
• Develop and implement project management frameworks, including project charters, work breakdown structures, task management, and waterfall methodologies; ensure proper documentation of responsibilities and timelines for all significant IT projects
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives and activities
• Manage relationships with other Kubota affiliates
• Develop and operationalize security policies
• Conduct security audits for internal and external clients
• Design and implement policies, standards, and procedures to improve operational effectiveness and security maturity
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA, and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may require additional qualifications or involve specific work environment considerations

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
• Manufacturing Experience: At least 10 years of IT experience in manufacturing operations, processes, and technologies
• Management Experience: 10-15 years in leadership and management roles
• IT Expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, security, and software in a multi-facility environment, including MES, ERP, web applications, PLM, and cybersecurity; SAP experience is a plus
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with manufacturing machinery and IT business needs
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate teams, set strategic direction, and manage budgets and resources
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve complex IT issues in manufacturing environments
• Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and make decisions
• Project Management: Experience managing large IT projects, including ERP conversions
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and how IT can enhance efficiency and growth
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders; excellent communication skills
• Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Global Perspective: Ability to work in a multicultural, international matrix organization
