The IT Project Manager will oversee moderately complex system projects and/or programs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. This role involves assembling and coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and mitigating risks while following professional standards and industry best practices such as SDLC and ITIL. The ideal candidate brings both technical experience and strategic thinking to drive business value.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects of moderate complexity from initiation through delivery
- Assemble project teams and assign responsibilities based on scope and required skill sets
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and resource plans
- Actively engage stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular status updates
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure project goals are met
- Oversee interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects within programs
- Ensure alignment with system architecture, security, and infrastructure guidelines
- Follow organizational standards and interpret guidelines for execution
Required Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with technical product selection and IT solution implementation
- Understanding of SDLC and ITIL frameworks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently within defined procedures
- Passion for continuous improvement and enhancing consumer experience
Preferred Skills:- Master's Degree in Business Administration
- Experience with data warehouse, decision support, and reporting systems
- Knowledge of Oracle and IBM RDBMS platforms
- Familiarity with development tools and languages including COBOL, CICS, DB2, ASP, COM, .NET, and SQL
- Six Sigma and/or PMI certification (PMP)
- Previous experience in the health solutions or healthcare industry
Certifications:Preferred: Six Sigma and/or PMP Certification
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Preferred: Master's degree in business administration
