As the IT Project & Innovation Director, you will lead the technology agenda with a focus on portfolio management, operational efficiency, and innovation. This is a strategic role with cross-functional responsibilities and direct impact on critical business processes — requiring a systemic view, strong technical foundation, and the ability to integrate technology with high-complexity operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the IT project portfolio management, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and prioritization based on business value and technical feasibility;
Define, plan, execute, and deliver technology projects, including system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and custom developments;
Manage the use of project management methodologies, both traditional (PMBOK, PMI) and agile (Scrum, Kanban), adapting frameworks to project needs;
Oversee technical development of teams, ensuring best practices in architecture, information security, software quality, and IT governance are applied;
Coordinate the technical interface across internal departments, vendors, consultancies, and technology partners, ensuring adherence to requirements, SLAs, and standards;
Implement risk control processes, timeline and budget monitoring, and efficient resource allocation;
Track project performance indicators (KPIs), delivery quality, scope compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction;
Drive technological innovation and process automation, evaluating new tools and solutions to enhance infrastructure efficiency and scalability;
Support the development and ongoing review of technology roadmaps, aligning short-, mid-, and long-term strategies with business needs;
Act as a change agent, promoting a collaborative culture, agile mindset, and results-oriented approach with strong technical execution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields (postgraduate studies or MBA is a plus);
Proven experience in leading IT projects in mid- to large-sized companies, preferably in industrial or supply chain environments;
Strong background in process modeling, PMO, demand management, and project prioritization;
Familiarity with both agile and traditional project management methodologies;
Ability to influence diverse stakeholders, lead high-performance teams, and deliver results;
Advanced English is a strong asset;
Experience in digital transformation in industrial or logistics environments;
Knowledge and experience with ERPs, cloud solutions, and integrated management platforms.
