Job DetailsJob Location CARTRIDGE MANUFACTURING - Elmira, NY Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree preferred Salary Range $55500.00 - $73900.00 Salary Travel Percentage Negligible Job Shift Day Job Category Information Technology DescriptionTitle: IT Programmer/Analyst The IT Programmer/Analyst shall be responsible for developing and maintaining programming solutions to improve processes through customization, and integrations with 3rd party applications. The duties shall include but not be limited to the following:

Programming: Design, program, test, and implement system enhancements, according to technical requirements and specifications. Responsible for developing new programs to improve processes through technology.

Experience with programming languages such as .ASP, .NET, Java or RPG - 2 years minimum experience.

Experience in customizing and integrating ERP systems with other applications is desirable.

Work closely with users, developers, and manufacturing stakeholders to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

Professional development: stay up to date on new approaches to deploying technologies in a manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

General knowledge of the manufacturing industry and systems/techniques used to meet business challenges of today.

Familiar with personal computer systems and software working in conjunction with IBM Poweri and Microsoft operating systems.

Ability to design, develop, test, and implement systems utilizing tools / software in a manufacturing environment.

QualificationsRequirements:

Bachelor's degree with concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Management or related field.

Demonstrated programming skills with one or more of the following languages: ASP, .NET, Java or RPG, 2 years minimum experience.

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and database; able to develop programs using SQL DB.

Working knowledge of Microsoft operating system, and experience with system administration.

Familiarity with IBM AS400/Poweri series operating system, is desirable.

Working knowledge of ERP systems is desirable.

Experience with Microsoft Office and common desktop applications.

Ability to communicate and assist PC users with computer problems and questions.

Be able to perform duties in an ever-changing fast paced environment.
