Job Description :
A national law firm is seeking a Veteran professional to manage its IT Procurement operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the acquisition of technology goods and services across all firm offices, ensuring optimal value, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals. The Manager will lead vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and procurement processes that support the firm's evolving technology infrastructure.Key Responsibilities**Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for IT hardware, software, and related services, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.**Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships to optimize pricing, service delivery, and long-term partnership value.**Collaborate with the Vendor Management Office (VMO) and IT leadership to negotiate contracts, renewals, and amendments in coordination with legal counsel.**Track and analyze market trends, vendor performance, and spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure adherence to budgets.**Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, compliance records, and lease schedules.**Manage the lifecycle of leased and capital assets, including end-of-lease returns, invoice reconciliation, and workflow reporting.**Process software license requests and manage one-off software keys to ensure compliance and proper tracking.**Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing, purchase processing, and inventory management.**Partner with Accounts Payable and Finance on invoice processing, audit reporting, and vendor payment follow-ups.**Promote firm-wide adherence to procurement policies, best practices, and internal controls.Qualifications**Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.**Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or vendor management.**Prior experience in a professional services or legal environment preferred.**Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.**Proven negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable vendor terms.**Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments and senior management levels.**Solid understanding of IT hardware, software, cloud services, and industry trends.**Proficiency in procurement systems, data analytics tools, and advanced Excel functions.**High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
