IT Operations Technician I - Waterloo, INLocation: Waterloo, INLength: 6-month contract-to-hireSchedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (flexible)Pay Range: $30-$36/hourYour Next Step in IT SupportPDS Tech is looking for an IT Operations Technician I to join a fast-paced, hands-on technology team in Waterloo, IN. In this role, you'll be the go-to resource for keeping systems running smoothly-configuring and maintaining hardware, supporting business applications, and ensuring employees have the tools they need to succeed.What You'll DoDeliver technical support via phone, email, chat, ticketing system, and in-person for both onsite and remote employees.Configure, deploy, and maintain computers, phones, printers, cameras, and mobile devices.Install, troubleshoot, and maintain IT infrastructure including network devices, conference rooms, servers, and access control systems.Implement and maintain software and licensing.Manage hardware inventory, returns, and loaner equipment.Create and maintain IT documentation.Participate in rotational on-call support (evenings/weekends as assigned).What You'll BringMinimum Qualifications:1+ year technical experience supporting hardware (computers, phones, printers).Associate degree in IT or equivalent combination of experience and education.Ability to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Strong knowledge of MS Windows, Office, Outlook, and workstation imaging tools.Experience troubleshooting networking, A/V systems, and security equipment.Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Intune.Hardware assembly, upgrades, and troubleshooting skills.Certifications such as AZ-900, MD-102, or related.Experience with PowerShell, cloud migration, or Microsoft ADO.Agile mindset and customer support experience.Why You'll Love This RoleBe part of a collaborative, solution-driven IT team.Work with a variety of systems and technology in a hands-on environment.Gain valuable experience and growth opportunities with a contract-to-hire role.Ready to take the next step in your IT career?
