Senior IT Manager

The Senior IT Manager is tasked with defining, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer-based systems and related processes for the business unit. This role involves overseeing and executing strategic technology projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion. Additionally, the Senior IT Manager will improve project management practices within the IT department, including the adoption of solutions, standard processes, and consistent delivery methodologies. This position reports directly to the Division Vice President and Business Unit Controller.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align IT department priorities with the organization's vision, strategies, and goals.
  • Lead the IT department, including managing direct reports, teaching, coaching, and developing staff.
  • Oversee ERP conversion projects.
  • Focus on results with effective, professional, and consistent communication skills.
  • Relate openly, honestly, and consistently with diverse groups of people.
  • Build strong relationships.
  • Manage mobile assets and applications.
  • Maintain and manage all relevant IT licenses.
  • Collaborate with department members to scope technology initiatives, develop project plans, and execute successfully.
  • Proficient knowledge in modern office productivity, communication, and collaboration toolsets, especially Microsoft tools.
  • Approach new opportunities and tough challenges with urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Adapt approach and demeanor in real-time to match shifting demands.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and consistent communication with stakeholders.
  • Occasional travel required.
Requirements for Consideration
  • 5-7 years of industry experience with a bachelor's degree in any field and demonstrated success in IT and people management.
  • Experience leading ERP conversion projects.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on experience with various project delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to interact with company personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units, and understand business imperatives.
  • Strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies, and policies.
  • Experience with Linux platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with Aptean Intuitive and Salesforce is a strong plus.
