As the IT Manager at American Centrifuge Operating (ACO), you'll be at the heart of Centrus Energy's mission, building and maintaining the computing environments that power both our unclassified and classified operations. From desktops and servers to enterprise networks and telecom systems, you'll ensure secure, reliable IT services for our Piketon site, and ensure consistency across all corporate sites-while mentoring your team, guiding IT strategy, and making technology work seamlessly for the business. What You'll Do: You'll lead daily IT operations for Piketon, overseeing everything from user support and system maintenance to network design and server deployments. You'll establish site-specific IT requirements, align them with corporate standards, and manage budgets and service-level agreements to ensure efficient, reliable performance. You'll support classified and unclassified computing environments, maintain compliance with security and licensing requirements, and help shape enterprise-wide IT strategy. Along the way, you'll mentor IT staff, manage vendor relationships, and ensure every support request ends with a satisfied customer. We'd Love to Hear from People With:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 5+ years of IT support and management experience
- Strong knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and procedures
- Hands-on experience with:
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations and motivate others
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance
- Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
- Microsoft Office and other standard desktop software
- Desktop, laptop, and server hardware platforms and peripherals
- TCP/IP LAN networking fundamentals
- Automation technologies
- Both On-Premise and Cloud Centric Applications
- Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles
A Successful Candidate Brings:
- Experience in both classified and unclassified computing environments
- Background in developing IT policies, procedures, and service-level agreements
