## Job description[]{role= document }NOT REMOTE - ONSITE IN MAYODAN NCTo apply come by the front office or click the link: below:The IT and Data Systems Manager will serve as a strategic partner across departments by leading the development, integration, and maintenance of enterprise technology systems and data infrastructure.POSITION DUTIESInformation Technology (50%)

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations including network infrastructure, system administration, and hardware/software support
• Manage ERP system functionality and integrations, ensuring smooth data flow between production, inventory, maintenance, and finance systems
• Lead the selection and implementation of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and shop-floor automation tools
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards including NIST, CMMC, or ISO27001 where applicable
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support PLC and SCADA integration with enterprise systems

Data Management and Analytics (30%)

• Design and maintain data pipelines to collect, clean, and analyze operational data (machine data, quality metrics, maintenance logs)
• Develop dashboards and reports in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL-based platforms for performance monitoring and decision support
• Partner with quality, engineering, and production teams to provide data insights that drive process improvements and yield optimization
• Implement predictive analytics models to anticipate equipment failures and improve maintenance planning
• Manage data governance and integrity across all systems and applications

Team Leadership and Technology Project Management (20%)

• Lead and Manage the IT Team, providing guidance, mentorship and support
• Oversee the portfolio of Technology Projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for all technology initiatives including timelines, budget, resource allocation and risk management strategies.
• Manage the day to day execution of technology projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines

Position RequirementsRequired Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems management, with 3+ years in a manufacturing environment (aviation or automotive preferred)
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Infor) and manufacturing software platforms
• Strong experience in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, PowerShell, Java, C++, Visual Basic, or Python and R for data analysis and reporting
• Strong visual and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of industrial protocols and systems (e.g., OPC UA, PLC integration)
• Solid understanding of network architecture, cybersecurity best practices, and cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the aviation industry or tire manufacturing is strongly preferred
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Certified Data Professional (CDP)
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT sensors and machine learning in manufacturing settings
