A TEKsystems client in Byhalia, MS is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Infrastructure & Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of the client's planned on-premises HA data centers and network operation center. This role will include infrastructure engineering duties and will grow in responsibilities. Ultimately, the position will manage a team of technicians, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our infrastructure, and implementing best practices for data center and IT/OT network operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, virtualization, server, and storage systems.
• Experience with data center and network operations center management tools and software.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud technologies in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for data center operations (e.g., Uptime Institute, ITIL).
• Preferred experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications & Education

• Bachelor's Degree
• Certifications such as Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), or similar are preferred.
• Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or similar are preferred.
• Certifications in VMware or Cyber Security are a plus.

Pay And Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000 per year.
• The company will provide a benefits package.

Workplace Type

• This is a fully onsite position in Byhalia, MS.
