Job Description
A real estate company in Camden, NJ is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and manage their technology infrastructure operations across the corporate and district offices. This strategic leadership role will involve managing all aspects of IT infrastructure for over 600 properties, ensuring optimal network performance, cloud services, security, and technical support. You will lead a team of 6 helpdesk managers and collaborate closely with network engineers to deliver reliable and effective IT services.
In this position, you will focus on the implementation and management of IT infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and cloud systems, with a strong emphasis on Cisco Meraki solutions. Additionally, you will oversee remote support, onboarding, and troubleshooting, and lead infrastructure projects across both new and existing properties. As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will also play a crucial role in evaluating and improving the technology landscape, identifying pain points, and driving solutions.
This position is ideal for someone with a proven background in managing complex infrastructure and supporting technology solutions for a large organization. A hands-on problem solver with strong leadership skills is required to successfully manage and optimize IT operations.
Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
3+ years of IT infrastructure management experience
Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Meraki, including routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions
Experience managing cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, AWS) and business applications
Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, VMs, Windows environments)
Familiarity with RealPage, Yardi, and Entrada (preferred but not required)
Expertise in managing remote IT operations and onboarding processes
Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and integrating IT infrastructure during property acquisitions
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams and mentoring staff
Ability to manage and escalate complex IT issues, ensuring high-quality solutions
Experience with network engineering and collaborating with network engineers
Ability to develop and implement infrastructure improvements in both new construction and remodeled properties
Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) best practices and strong project management capabilities
Strong project management experience, including evaluating infrastructure in district offices and implementing new solutions
Experience in managing firewalls, SD-WAN, and Meraki devices
Familiarity with M&A in IT infrastructure and integrating newly acquired properties
Comfortable working with cloud servers and virtual machines, while understanding the basics of on-premise solutions
Strong understanding of networking and switching technologies
Ability to bring innovative solutions and optimize infrastructure to meet organizational goals
Overseeing and managing all aspects of IT infrastructure across the organization, including corporate and district offices
Leading a team of 6 helpdesk managers, providing leadership, training, and professional development
Ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of Cisco Meraki routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions
Managing the organization's cloud servers, including Google Cloud and related technologies
Evaluating, troubleshooting, and resolving escalated issues from technical support
Collaborating with network engineers and external vendors to ensure efficient and reliable infrastructure solutions
Overseeing and managing infrastructure projects, including evaluations and improvements in district offices and newly acquired properties
Taking a lead role in new construction projects and ensuring that infrastructure requirements are met
Identifying infrastructure pain points and proposing innovative solutions to improve efficiency
Implementing new IT solutions for remodeled properties and outdated infrastructures
Ensuring the proper onboarding of IT systems and managing remote operations effectively
Reporting directly to senior management, sharing insights, progress, and challenges
