IT Infrastructure / Data Center Manager - Bluestone Software : Job Details

With rapid growth and expansion, our client is seeking a top IT Infrastructure / Data Center Manager who can manage and lead a team, set the IT direction, drive execution, and make hands-on technical contributions.

Duties of the IT Infrastructure / Data Center Manager:

• Maintain and oversee Infrastructure and Data Center service level standards and standard operating procedures for hardware, software, servers, and networks.
• Manage desktops, phone systems, and email systems.
• Lead a team of analysts and technicians, assist in help desk and production support, and prioritize workload based on business needs.
• Manage and recruit staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and conducting performance reviews.
• Assist with network infrastructure and disaster recovery plans, including annual testing.
• Ensure the security of company data across all systems.
• Create and maintain effective vendor relationships to understand business needs and priorities.

Required Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in the IT field, including knowledge of applications and hardware components of computer networks.
• At least 3 years of direct management of technical staff, managing multiple priorities, and leading enterprise system implementations.
• Experience with infrastructure technologies such as data center management, VMWare, Cisco routers & switches, network monitoring tools, firewalls, storage solutions, disaster recovery, and security processes.
• Experience designing and administering databases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Cisco networking devices, storage devices, tape backup libraries, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata databases, telecommunications equipment, and IT Helpdesk.
• Managerial experience or demonstrated excellence in individual roles.
• Experience with both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Ability to foster healthy relationships, build strong team dynamics, and influence others positively.
• Leadership skills to motivate and influence teams, promote collaboration, and support coaching and development.

A Bachelor's Degree is required.
