IT Help Desk Information Specialist

Our client is seeking an IT Help Desk Information Specialist to provide technical support and customer service to internal employees. This role will involve assisting with day-to-day IT needs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and user accounts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable supporting a wide range of technologies.

This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities
  • Provide IT support to employees by phone and in person.
  • Reset passwords and manage accounts in Active Directory.
  • Enroll and support mobile devices using multi-factor authentication tools such as DUO.
  • Install and configure software on Windows and Mac computers.
  • Assist with mobile device support, including iPhones and iPads.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues such as audio/microphone problems, VPN connectivity, and failed software installs.
  • Respond to user questions about Google Workspace.
  • Direct employees to appropriate IT resources and the Service Portal.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an IT help desk or service desk role.
  • Knowledge of standard IT service desk procedures and practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows, Mac OS, and mobile device management.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly communicate solutions.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and adapt to evolving technologies.
