Job Overview: The IT Field Service Specialist will lead the planning and onsite installation, repair, and support of IT server, network, security systems, and low-voltage cabling. Engage with business stakeholders, vendors, and across multiple IT teams. They will establish, maintain, and retire IT facilities, ensuring successful and on-time delivery to internal customers and projects. This position is hybrid, with travel to project locations. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Install and troubleshoot IT server, security, and network systems, including low-voltage and structured cabling. Assist in configuring network LAN/WAN and infrastructure equipment. Serve as the primary contact for assigned projects, coordinating activities across multiple teams. Understand customer issues, determine root causes, research solutions, and ensure timely resolution. Perform maintenance on IT facilities and networks across all company locations, traveling across the US and Canada. Maintain accurate installation records, inventory, and documentation. Participate in on-call rotation for network monitoring and escalations. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2-5 years of IT support experience with a strong customer satisfaction record. Proficiency in PC and MS Office products. Basic knowledge of data communications, wired and wireless networking, and principles like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, LAN/WAN, and network security. Experience with cable testers and fiber testers. Ability to travel 60-75% of the time. Availability to work after-hours, weekends, and on-call as needed. Additional Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience with structured cabling and cable management. 1-2 years of installation and troubleshooting experience with IT systems and network equipment. Experience with cellular data communications and signal booster installation. Experience with HPE Aruba, Cisco Meraki, Dell Networking. Certifications such as BICSI, CCNA, NETWORK+. Experience deploying security cameras, recorders, and access control systems like Kantech Entrapass. Non-Technical Skills: Motivated to learn and develop IT skills. Excellent communication skills across teams. Diligent and committed to successful project delivery. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work under deadlines and handle diverse responsibilities. Familiarity with safety practices in office and field environments. Valid driver's license, capable of flying and long-distance driving. Physical Requirements: Work in remote and challenging locations, including rooftops and construction sites. Lift or move objects up to 60lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100lbs, and climb ladders.
