Avint LLC is seeking a sharp, security-minded ON-SITE IT Engineer with strong networking expertise to help design, build, and secure mission-critical infrastructure. In this hands-on role, you'll lead the implementation of Cisco-based LAN environments, troubleshoot complex network issues, and ensure systems meet rigorous security and compliance standards. This position is 100% ON-SITE in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, monitor, and manage local and wide area networks to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Design system configurations, document, and manage network installations, and maintain and upgrade systems as necessary.
  • Design, plan, and implement LAN infrastructure.
  • Configure and install Cisco switches.
  • Implement network security measures and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance such as updates and upgrades.
  • Maintain Cisco CCO account for case creation and IOS downloads.
  • Document network configurations and procedures.
    • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Administration.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience configuring Cisco switches.
    • Current CCNA Security+ Certification.
    • Active Top Secret/SCI DOD Clearance.

    The salary range for this position is: $130,355.00 - $221,603.00
