For more information, please visit www.Gridware.io. About the Role We're looking for a people-first, highly organized IT professional to join our team as an IT Engineer. In this role, you'll be the go-to technical resource for onsite support - managing and troubleshooting hardware, coordinating with remote contractors, overseeing IT logistics, and maintaining an excellent employee experience. This is not your typical behind-the-scenes IT role - it's highly hands-on, highly visible, and logistics-driven, ideal for someone who enjoys being proactive, solving real-world problems, and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, growing environment. What You'll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for IT issues globally - troubleshooting and resolving user problems quickly and professionally.
- Handle equipment deployment, inventory, and tracking - including shipping equipment leading onboarding sessions and managing inventory.
- Provide day-to-day helpdesk support for Mac and Windows users across multiple sites.
- Support and troubleshoot systems by, collecting data and conducting root cause analysis to resolution.
- Assist with deployment, consolidation, and retirement of systems.
- Maintain documentation for support workflows, troubleshooting steps, and hardware logistics processes.
- Ensure adherence to IT and security protocols through training, investigation, and reporting.
- Provide A/V and conference room support.
Required Skills
- 3-5+ years of hands-on IT support experience (helpdesk, desktop support, or field tech roles) in a fast-growing startup
- Experience administrating IAM, SSO, MDM, and conferencing systems.
- Solid understanding of IT protocols and concepts (e.g., DNS, DHCP, email authentication methods, etc).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Mac and Windows environments.
- Experience with MDM tools and asset management systems.
- Strong organizational skills - able to manage multiple users, devices, and support tickets across locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - someone who's proactive, patient, and enjoys supporting people.
- Enjoys working onsite most of the week and comfortable working directly with users, and off-hours when needed
Nice to Have Skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
