Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related healthcare field.

Preferred Education:

  • None.

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) years of IT healthcare experience in financial and third-party systems.

Preferred Experience

  • Extensive vendor management, contract negotiation, and relationship building experience.
  • Experience managing financial systems (preferably in a leadership role).
  • History of successful project management and target/milestone achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of financial systems related regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Advanced analytical abilities.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • Leads and oversees financial and third-party systems' development, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and support for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH); ensures applications' efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluates and enhances financial systems and processes continuously to improve efficiency, accuracy, and functionality.
  • Leads a team of managers, team leads, system administrators, developers, and analysts.
  • Develops and maintains a budget for financial third-party systems development.
  • Analyzes, interprets, and reports financial data.
  • Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
  • Communicates information timely via appropriate channels.
  • Displays an understanding of diversity.
  • Manages departmental budget.
  • Meet goals/expectations established over the previous year.
