Imperial is seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Director to lead our technology strategy and infrastructure across all locations. This individual will oversee system architecture, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise application management while supporting future digital initiatives. The IT Director will partner with business leaders to align technology with Imperial's growth, compliance, and operational goals. This position reports directly to the CFO and leads a talented team of seven IT professionals.Salary: Up to $165,000 - $175,000 + bonusFull TimeLocation: Hybrid - Bourbon, Mo.What You'll Be Doing
- Lead IT Operations: Oversee infrastructure, networks, hardware, software, and help desk support across all Imperial sites, ensuring high system uptime and seamless user experience.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and implement a forward-looking IT roadmap covering systems upgrades, cloud integrations, new AI initiatives, and enhanced data management capabilities.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Champion robust cybersecurity practices, disaster recovery plans, and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR).
- Financial & Vendor Management: Manage departmental budgets with strong financial acumen. Oversee vendor relationships and third-party software contracts, including NetSuite or other cloud-based ERP systems, CRM, and manufacturing platforms.
- Business Partnership: Act as an internal technology consultant, partnering with business units to evaluate and implement systems that drive efficiency, automation, and growth—including setting up order entry systems and plant connections.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled IT team of seven direct reports. Establish clear goals, performance metrics, skill development, and succession planning.
- Special Projects & Innovation: Provide technical leadership on special projects such as BI tools, system automations, and workflow digitization. Stay current on industry trends to keep Imperial agile, adaptive, and connected.
- Performance Management: Define, monitor, and report on KPIs for IT performance, system uptime, and issue resolution, ensuring the department delivers excellent internal customer service.
What We Need
- 7–10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3–5+ years in direct leadership roles
- Proven track record managing enterprise systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, cloud-based ERP (NetSuite experience a plus), and CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of network management, cybersecurity, and best practices for disaster recovery and regulatory compliance.
- Experience overseeing department budgets, vendor negotiations, and financial planning.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating, implementing, and managing emerging technologies such as AI-driven solutions.
- Experience with IT integrations during mergers and acquisitions is highly desirable.
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments strongly preferred.
- A strategic and proactive leader who is adaptive, visionary, and committed to delivering best-in- class internal customer service.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
