The IT Business Partner acts as a strategic, tactical interface, direct channel with assigned business units or functional areas for all IT-related topics. The IT Business Partner proactively acts as a trusted advisor and is the primary IT point of contact for executives and managers. The IT Business Partner connects the FCS Global IT functions with the business stakeholders and ensures that the IT solutions are effectively communicated, coordinated and delivered to support the business goals and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business strategy and business processes, priorities, challenges, and opportunities of the assigned region or function.
• Translate business requirements into IT needs (IT Demand Management) and facilitate the delivery of IT solutions that meet business needs and expectations.
• Act as single point of contact and escalation authority for IT-related questions and inquiries managing the relationship between IT and business stakeholders.
• Represent business interests and needs within the FCS Global IT functions and ensure the alignment of IT strategy and services with business goals.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and value of IT services and solutions, with feedback and recommendations for improvement and innovation.
• Support the change management of IT initiatives and projects in the business area, ensuring effective communication, training and support.
• Collaborate with other IT business partners and IT teams to share best practices, insights, and solutions within the organization.
• Implement group-wide policies and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 7+ years of experience working in IT within a manufacturing environment
• Expert knowledge of IT systems, architecture, processes, and SAP environment
• Experience working closely with executive stakeholders
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally - up to 50%
• International experience is a plus
