The role:Reporting to the Associate Director, the Business Analyst supporting Research and Development and ESG is a technical role requiring strong communication skills to collaborate with the business. You will drive accountability in establishing and maintaining a value-driven relationship between IT and R&D to ensure business success. Your responsibilities include balancing expectations, priorities, service levels, and investments; recommending market solutions; developing application roadmaps; collaborating with technology architects; creating business cases for strategic projects; and managing project execution including system configuration and process development.

What you will do:

• Support configuration and integration of R&D tools (e.g., SAP, PLM, PALM, CAD systems) to streamline workflows and ensure data accuracy. Define standards, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate integration testing.
• Manage business relationships by understanding strategic priorities, operating models, and IT needs of assigned areas. Maintain and nurture customer relationships to manage demand and requirements.
• Ensure outstanding support from third-party service providers, managing SLA metrics, and providing support outside normal hours as needed, including occasional travel.
• Lead and coordinate major application projects, including communication with executives, budget management, and resource coordination.
• Lead workshops with business teams to understand application benefits and pain points; engage with leadership to develop a three-year technology roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis supporting R&D teams in a CPG environment.
• Knowledge of R&D software (PLM, Specification Systems, SAP, PowerBI), data management, and collaboration tools.
• Understanding of ESG initiatives such as Sunrise 2027, EU Green Deal, and Digital Product Passport.
• Ability to configure systems, understand database structures, conduct detailed testing, and develop specifications.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
