Job Description :

Overview: As a Business Analyst I, youll assist Implementation Managers and IT project teams in completing customer startup projects and demand requests. Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining documentation, system configuration, testing, issue identification and resolution, and providing support to internal and external customers. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with Implementation Managers and IT project teams to develop an implementation plan
  • Clearly and concisely documents and maintains project artifacts
  • Working under the direction of a project lead, assists in the configuration and creation of custom application solutions
  • Completes and documents unit testing and integration testing activities
  • Coordinates and documents user acceptance testing activities
  • Identifies, defines, and resolves minor issues during the implementation process, escalating complex issues to more senior team members
  • Utilizes project management methodologies consistent with the common framework
  • Becomes a subject matter expert in at least one area within the department
  • Trains customer end-users on solution functionality and operational processes
  • Seeks to identify improvement opportunities for process, execution, delivery, and communication
  • Learns new systems, processes, and tools quickly and thoroughly
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management

Job specific Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated technical writing and business documentation skills

  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

  • Experience providing customer service or customer support

  • Proficient in Google Workspaces or Office365 productivity suites

  • Basic relational database knowledge required; experience with SQL queries for data mining is preferred

  • Prior industry experience (Warehousing and Distribution, Transportation, Supply Chain, or 3rd Party Logistics) is a plus

  • Must be able to travel with potential for overnight trips (up to 25%)

  • Experience with the Distribution and Warehousing sectors, including an understanding of supply chain components, dependencies, and impacts.

  • Familiarity with IT solution implementations for warehouses and distribution centers, such as Warehouse Management Systems, Reporting Tools, Labor Management Systems, and Billing Management Systems.

  • Proficiency in gathering requirements and designing solutions with stakeholders (e.g., Customer, Operations, Engineers), producing necessary artifacts, and guiding discussions with large audiences.

  • Involvement in Pre-Sales and Customer relationship management for prospective clients, including RFP pricing strategies.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, with examples of contributions to continuous improvement and standardization initiatives.

  • Exposure to tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, and Smartsheets. Experience with Manhattan Associates Supply Chain Product Suite is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree strongly preferred, will consider comparable work experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Broad, generalist knowledge of core elements or concepts relevant to the role.
  • Focuses on learning existing tools, resources, and processes at NFI.

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $75.000/Yr. - $85,000/Yr. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
