Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking an IT Auditor to join their team. As an IT Auditor, you will be part of the audit department supporting various teams within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Jersey City, New Jersey

$50-$55/hour

• Participate in the planning and performance of specific audits, including developing the audit scope and program.
• Conduct reviews of general controls, system security, applications, and pre-implementation processes.
• Perform integrated reviews to evaluate business applications and processes.
• Perform risk assessments to define the scope of audits.
• Gather and analyze data during audit execution.
• Prepare workpapers and draft reports summarizing audit findings.
• Communicate audit results to management, evaluate system vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of transferable experience in IT auditing.
• Ability to handle confidential information with good judgment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft), operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases (Oracle, MS SQL), and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days initially, transitioning to 4 days a week in Jersey City.
