We are seeking a reliable and proactive IT Assistant to support all facets of technology within our dynamic gaming, hotel, restaurant, and entertainment complex. This hands-on role requires a well-rounded IT professional with experience in the hospitality and gaming industries, who is comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of systems and working independently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support for daily operations across all departments, including hotel, casino, food and beverage, and entertainment venues. • Maintain and troubleshoot point-of-sale (POS) systems, hotel property management systems (PMS), casino management systems (CMS), surveillance systems, and back- office infrastructure. • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and mobile devices for staff and management. • Assist with user account administration, system access, and security protocols. • Monitor network performance and assist with troubleshooting network connectivity issues. • Support AV systems for events and entertainment venues. • Escalate critical issues to appropriate IT personnel and vendors when needed. • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure timely updates and patches are applied to systems. • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies after hours, including weekends and holidays. • Document all service requests and resolutions using the company's IT ticketing system. • Support IT-related training and onboarding of new employees. Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a hotel, casino, or hospitality environment. • Strong working knowledge of hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, Maestro), POS systems (e.g., MICROS, Toast), and gaming systems (e.g., IGT, Aristocrat, Bally). • Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, networking fundamentals, and security best practices. • Understanding of surveillance and access control systems is a plus. • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environment. • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and be part of an on-call rotation. • Associate's degree or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered). Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for moving equipment. • Frequent walking throughout large indoor and outdoor facilities. • Occasional climbing, kneeling, or reaching to access hardware and cables. • Work may include noisy or dim environments typical of gaming and entertainment venues.
